Government and Bank Owned (REO) Homes can be wonderful bargains. However, these properties are sold without any warranty and may have unknown and unknowable (until you move in) problems. In many cases, the homes have been abandoned without proper maintenance for more than a year. You should understand that the owners of these properties just want to get rid of them and may not know about or have even seen these properties.
The owners of these properties do not and will not care if you can get the money to complete the purchase.
